Governor Namadi appoints 6 technical advisers

Governor Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has officially appointed six Technical Advisers to various sectors.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the Secretary to the Government of the state, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

The newly appointed Technical Advisers and their respective areas of expertise include Dr. Risilan Abdul’aziz Kanya for ICT and Digital Economy, Malam Isah sirajo for Health, Dr. Saifullahi Umar for Agriculture.

Others include, Dr. Muharaz Muhammad Nasir for Environment, Engr Dr. Surajo A. Musa for Power and Renewable Energy, and Dr. Abdullahi Dogo Abubakar for Education.

According to the statement, the appointments were made based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.

The statement further urged the appointees to work diligently for sound execution of the present administration’s policies, programmes and projects.

“It is your responsibility to show the good people of the State that you are indeed serving an administration that would excel in many human endeavors. So you have every reason to work very hard”

“All the appointments take immediate effect,” the statement added.

The SSG urged them to be good ambassadors of Governor Namadi’s administration, wherever they found themselves, within and outside the State.
