Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended heartfelt condolences to Hon. Baba Umar, the Executive Secretary, Kano State Private and Voluntary Institutions Management Board (KSPVIB), over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Ramatu Bello who died last Friday at the age of 98 following protracted illness.
He also condoled with the proprietor of Tambari Television, Alhaji Ibrahim Makama on the demise of his wife, Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim Makama as a result of child birth.
This was contained in a condolence messages issued by the governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano Monday.
The governor expressed deep shock over the loss of Hajiya Ramatu Bello whom he described as a caring mother who trained and moulded pious, obedient and committed children who are contributing immensely to the development of the community.
Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf equally mourns late Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim Makama whom he said was a pillar of Makama’s family and a dedicated house wife who always stood firm for the betterment of her family.
He added that the death of the two women was a collosal loss not only to their families, but to the entire nation as they left a void difficult to fill.
On behalf of the government and people of the state, Governor Yusuf prayed that Allah SWT grants the departed souls eternal rest and grants their families the courage and fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
