Governor Yusuf’s years are blessing to Kano State – Dr. Labaran
Kano State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, has described Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s life and leadership as a blessing to the people of the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Information Officer of Ministry of Health on Monday to mark the governor’s 62nd birthday anniversary.
According to the statement, the commissioner revealed that Governor Yusuf’s tenure has been marked by a focused and compassionate approach to leadership, with particular attention to transforming Kano into a mega city and improving its healthcare system.
“The gradual transformation of Kano to a mega city with exclusive attention to the healthcare system indicates that Kano people are blessed with a focused and compassionate leader,” Dr. Labaran stated.
He also highlighted Governor Abba’s contributions during his tenure as Commissioner of Works under Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s administration, noting the numerous projects that changed the face of Kano.
“His Excellency has proven his love for the state since his days as Commissioner of Works, where he spearheaded transformative projects that laid the foundation for Kano’s development,” he added.
Dr. Labaran commended the governor’s resilience and commitment to fulfilling his blueprint for purposeful leadership despite internal and external challenges.
“It is worth noting that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has been providing sterling leadership that changes the political landscape of the state. His governance, full of sympathy, hard work, and kindness, has endeared him to the majority of Kano people,” he said.
“The 24 hours of the governor are dedicated to serving his people. He is always on the move, day and night, supervising projects, hospitals, and other key initiatives to ensure progress. Indeed, the years of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf are benefitable to all of us,” Dr. Labaran emphasized.
The commissioner congratulated the people of Kano for having a visionary and compassionate governor dedicated to their welfare.
He urged continued support for the administration’s people-oriented policies, which aim to advance the state’s development.
Dr. Labaran concluded by offering prayers for Governor Abba.
“We pray for Allah’s continued guidance and protection for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as he leads Kano with meaningful and cherished leadership.”
