Group Warns Kwankwaso Against Using Social Media Handlers To Undermine Security, Public Order In Kano

The Kano Peace Coalition Group says it has uncovered a report on how the Leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, allegedly manipulates Youth groups to undermine security and public order in Kano.
The State Coordinator of the Group, Datti Datti Tukur, alleged in a statement that the Youth’s who are members of Kwankwasiyya Movement from the branches of the Social Media, had recently taken to their accounts, attacking prominent political figures including the state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, former Governor of the state,Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje,and anyone that disagrees with his political philosophy.
The group specifically mentioned an instance where the Kwankwasiyya handlers allegedly degnirated the personality of Governor Yusuf depicting him in female attires wearing make-up.
The group named individuals involved in the matter to including Abba Ibrahim Hussain, Abdulmajid Danbilki-Kwamanda, Samir Hanga, and Abdullahi Warkal, some of whom it said,had been questioned by security personnel.
The Coordinator, appealed to Amnesty International who had reportedly issued a statement alleging harassment of Political opponents in Kano to “verify every claim in the spirit of fairness and professionalism, before taking stand to avoid compromising the group’s reputation and credibility.”
“Amnesty International should look at the issues of cyber bullying, stalking and incitement that clearly violates the law.
“Kano is a respected State with People of dignity, integrity and religious consciousness,”the statement added.
