How Ibrahim El Muazzam completed 100 certifications in seven months

Ibrahim El Muazzam, a resident of Kaduna state has completed 100 certifications within seven months of 2024 across different fields through online platforms, earning advanced diplomas, diplomas, certificates, and training recognitions.

Speaking to in a recent interview with Prime Time News, Ibrahim revealed that his journey began in May and culminated in December 2024.

“It started as a small goal. After earning my first certificate, I aimed to get 10 by the end of the year. But as I kept going, the momentum built up, and I ended up with 100. Alhamdulillah, it’s been an incredible journey,” he said.

Describing the effort involved, he acknowledged the challenges of staying disciplined.

“It was a time-consuming and exhausting task. You have to battle distractions, especially with online learning. It required dedication and discipline to see it through.”

He emphasized the value of accessible education in today’s world.

“Honestly, I’ve learned so much, and more interestingly, most of it was free. I’ve explored many fields and realized that ignorance today is a choice. You can gain knowledge without spending a kobo,” he noted.

Ibrahim humorously recounted how his achievement surprised his family. “When I told my mom I had completed 100 certifications, she said, ‘100?! Are you a computer?’ I replied, ‘Not at all! It’s just determination and hard work.’”

He encouraged young people to take advantage of online learning opportunities.

“Explore these platforms and similar ones. Equip yourself as much as possible. Build your CV. In a country like Nigeria, you need to be versatile. Whatever adds value to your life, go for it,” he advised.

Ibrahim’s certifications span a wide range of disciplines, including: Advanced Diploma in Database Systems, Diploma in Cyber Security, Certificate in Project Management, Certificate in Data Science Foundations, Certificate in Human Rights and Law, Advanced Diploma in Engineering Thermodynamics, Advanced Diploma in Soil Science and Technology.
