Inuwa Waya Pays Courtesy Visit to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Discusses Development Agenda for Kano
A prominent Kano-born technocrat and seasoned administrator, Barrister Inuwa Waya, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the Government House, Kano.
During the high-level engagement, Waya and Governor Yusuf exchanged views on key matters concerning the growth, progress, and sustainable development of Kano State. The meeting, which was described as cordial and forward-looking, focused on potential areas of collaboration aimed at improving the lives of the citizens.
Speaking after the visit, Inuwa Waya expressed appreciation for the warm reception by the Governor and commended the administration’s commitment to infrastructural renewal, youth empowerment, education, and healthcare reforms.
“I had the honour of paying a courtesy call on the progressive Governor of our dear state, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf. We had fruitful discussions around the developmental strides in Kano and how we can collectively support the government in delivering on its mandate,” Waya stated.
Governor Yusuf, in turn, acknowledged Waya’s patriotic gesture and reiterated his administration’s open-door policy to ideas and partnerships that align with the vision of a greater Kano.
