Jibrin Warns Doguwa: “You Will Be Expelled from Your Party If I Drop a Bombshell”

By Mustapha Salisu

Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin has issued a stern warning to Hon Alhassan Ado Doguwa, urging him to stop his attacks on NNPP National Leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and to focus on his legislative duties.

In a statement widely circulated by Sani Ibrahim Paki, Media Aide to Abdulmumin Jibrin, said the Lawmaker Jibrin expressed disappointment that Doguwa did not apologize to Kwankwaso, instead resorting to what Jibrin described as petty talk. He urged the public to dismiss Doguwa’s comments, insisting they belong in the “largest dustbin in history.”

Jibrin praised Doguwa for responding to him rather than Kwankwaso, viewing it as an acknowledgment that they are equals, unlike Kwankwaso, who Jibrin sees as far superior. He criticized Doguwa’s inability to handle even a simple warning without losing composure, contrasting this with Kwankwaso’s tolerance of long-standing attacks.

Reflecting on their political journeys, Jibrin noted that while Doguwa has remained in the House of Representatives for 32 years without significant advancement, Kwankwaso has achieved numerous high-profile positions, including two terms as Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, and a presidential candidate. Jibrin emphasized Kwankwaso’s role as a mentor and peace-loving leader with significant influence in northern Nigeria.

Jibrin accused Doguwa of attempting to gain favor with Abuja leaders by maligning Kwankwaso and warned that Doguwa’s private utterances could lead to his expulsion from his party. He advised Doguwa to confine his disputes within his party, where he has already faced numerous conflicts.

In closing, Jibrin expressed sympathy for Doguwa, mockingly suggesting he adopt the title of “Sardauna of Turban” in light of his current frustrations.
