Jigawa Civil Society Forum seeks more partnership with Govt

The Jigawa Civil Society Forum (JCSF), demand waiver from Jigawa state government, for the purchase of a bill of quantity to monitor government projects from the civil society side and sustain the ward level committee.
The call was made by the chairman of JCSF comrade Musbahu Basirka, when the Forum paid an advocacy visit to Governor Malam Umar Namadi on Monday, at the Government House Dutse.
The forum that presented an award of excellence to the governor during the visit, conveyed heartfelt congratulations to him on his successful election and assumption of office.
The delegation also praised the Governor for his hundred days in office. Comrade Basirka provided a brief overview of the Forum’s activities and expressed gratitude to the Governor for involving the civil society forum in various standing committees such as the fertilizer sales committee, monthly sanitation committee, land grazing committee, and many others.
While responding to the deligation, Governor Umar Namadi expressed his gratitude to the Forum for the visit. He assured the Forum of his government’s unwavering commitment to work hand in hand with the civil society in order to ensure effective service delivery.
He then, expressed his appreciation for the award of excellence and pledged continuous support and collaboration forum for better Jigawa state.
