Jigawa Governor Signs N298 Billion Budget Into Law

The Jigawa state Governor Malam Umar Namadi has on Thursday signed into law the sum of N298.140 billion as Budget for 2024 fiscal year.

The governor who signed the budget one week after the state Assembly passed the budget, said that the budget holds a lot and assured Jigawa citizens that it will be implemented accordingly.

He said as the budget build-up through the views and opinions of citizens, urged all concern to watch the implementation of the budget, advice and correct the government where it done wrong.

Governor Namadi commended the efforts of the legislators for the speedy passage of the bill, saying it happened due to their dedication and patriotism to the state.

He then restated his administration’s commitment to strengthening the existing synergy with the legislative arm.
