Jigawa NG-CARES Distributes Motorcycles to Facilitators

The Jigawa State Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Results Area II (FADAMA CARES) program has distributed motorcycles to 27 facilitators across the state.
The distribution aims to support field operations and ensure effective service delivery.
During the handover ceremony, State Program Coordinator Dr. Aliyu Inuwa Dutse urged the facilitators to use the motorcycles responsibly.
He emphasized the importance of this intervention in improving their mobility and reminded them to adhere to the signed agreements regarding proper use and maintenance.
Dr. Dutse stated, “These motorcycles are provided to ease your fieldwork and improve the overall impact of FADAMA CARES in Jigawa State. It is your responsibility to ensure they are used solely for the intended purposes.”
Aminu Adamu, retired permanent secretary of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning and a member of the beneficiary targeting selection committee, commended the facilitators for their efforts in ensuring the success of the FADAMA CARES program throughout the state.
He stated that this gesture acknowledges and rewards their dedication and urged them to ensure proper maintenance and security of the motorcycles.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Kazaure facilitator Malam Yahaya expressed gratitude for the intervention, calling it a timely solution to the challenges they face in reaching rural communities.
He also requested that NG-CARES provide support for fuel and maintenance.
Malam Yahaya assured the program of the facilitators’ commitment to using the motorcycles effectively to achieve the goals of the FADAMA CARES initiative.
