JUST IN: Emir Sanusi Appoints New Galadiman Kano

The Emir of Kano, His Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Mannir Sanusi, the District Head of Bichi, as the new Galadiman Kano.

This follows the death of the former Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, who passed away last Tuesday, creating a vacancy for the position.

According to a source, Emir Sanusi II approved the appointment after consulting with key stakeholders in the Emirate Council, and it was eventually agreed that Alhaji Mannir Sanusi should become the new Galadiman Kano.

The source further revealed that the Emir also approved the appointment of Turakin Kano as the new Wamban Kano, while Adam Sanusi was appointed Tafidan Kano.
