Kano CP To Boost Ties With Anti-Corruption Commission To Combat Corruption, Others

The New Commissioner of Police in Kano State,Mr Salman Dogo Garba, says he is determined to boost the relationship between his Command and the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission(PCAC) so as to effectively combat corruption and other vices.
Garba stated this when he received the Chairman and Chief Executive of the commission, Muhyi Rimin Gado, who led the management team of the agency on a courtesy visit to the commissioner.
He reassured the agency of the Nigeria Police Force’s support in ensuring effective service delivery in fighting corruption and other vices.
He also solicited for the advice and support of the agency aimed at achieving the set objectives.
Responding,Rimin Gado said they were at the commissioner’s office to familiarize with each other,and to solicit for more support from the Nigeria Police with a view to realizing its mandate.
“We are here to welcome our new CP, and to also assure him of our readiness to work together,and to solicit for more support geared towards achieving the stated goals,” he said.
He said that the Nigeria Police is a critical stakeholder in providing support to the commission for effective service delivery.
The chairman then prayed for continuous peace and harmony in the state and the nation.
