By Mustapha Salisu

Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam, and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has wished Hon. Muhammad Bello Butubutu success in the upcoming February 3rd bye-election in Rimin Gado and Tofa local governments.

Deputy Gwarzo made the declaration yesterday (Monday) during a campaign rally in honour of Hon. Muhammad Bello Butubutu held at both Rimin Gado and Tofa local governments respectively.

Recall that INEC declared some polling units inconclusive during the March 18, 2023, governorship and state Assembly election.

Comr. Gwarzo accused the opposition of causing the inconclusive election, alleging they couldn’t secure votes in those areas during their time in power.

While expressing confidence in the victory of their party, NNPP, he urged people to vote wisely.

Comrade Abdussalam however congratulated the voters and promised  more developmental projects under Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration.

“Your continued support is appreciated, and together we’ll reach greater heights” the Deputy Governor added.
