His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, officially inaugurated the commencement of 4 kilometers of road projects on Sunday in selected districts of Nasarawa Local Government Area.
The road construction initiative was launched at Gama and Tudunwada Districts and is set to be executed by Hon. Hassan Usaini, the Federal lawmaker representing Nasarawa LGA in the House of Representatives.
PRIME TIME NEWS gathered that the Deputy Governor commended Hon. Usaini for promptly initiating the road construction projects within seven months of assuming office.
Gwarzo praised the federal lawmaker’s proactive approach, contrasting it with the common practice of representatives who often disappear from constituents’ view until the next election season.
Comrade Abdussalam acknowledged Hon. Usaini’s commitment to delivering tangible results promptly disclosing unlike others who resurface only during campaign periods.
The Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of elected representatives engaging in continuous development rather than just project implementation close to election cycles.
“After 3 years, they will come back and start executing projects with the aim of wooing the people to vote for them again,” stated Comrade Abdussalam.
He urged other representatives to emulate Hon. Hassan Usaini’s dedication to providing infrastructure in line with their campaign promises, emphasizing the need for sustained efforts in serving the people.
In a related development, the Deputy Governor also announced the launch of a free admission and scholarship program into Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education for young men, a commendable initiative secured by Hon. Usaini.
The event witnessed a significant turnout, with relevant stakeholders from Nasarawa LGA, Commissioners, Heads of MDAs, and other distinguished guests in attendance.
The road projects and educational initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to the overall development of the selected districts in Nasarawa LGA.
