Highlighting the administration’s determination, Governor Yusuf noted, “Sometimes, my attorney general personally appears in court during those trials to demonstrate the administration’s commitment to rid the state of corruption.”

Earlier Speaking, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, Chairman of the ICPC, expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor for the opportunity to meet, citing the Commission’s recent Management Retreat in the state as the reason for the courtesy call.

Reflecting on the past collaboration between ICPC and the Kano State PCACC in training initiatives, the Chairman sought an ongoing partnership with the agency in the collective effort to combat corruption.

Also speaking, the chairman of Kano Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission (PCACC), Barr. Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado noted that ICPC has been one of the partner to his commission.

He added that there’s a long-life relationship between them, recalling that most of his agency’s staffs were trained by the ICPC.
