Kano Gov’t Reaffirms Commitment to Protection of Lives, Properties

The Kano State Government has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and properties across the State, as part of its resolve to ensure peace, security, and stability for all residents.
Yusuf Abubakar Ibrahim Anipr, Director Public Enlightenment of the Agency disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen today.
According to Yusuf, this assurance was given by the Commander General, Kano State Neighborhood Watch Security Agency, Lt. Col. Aminu Yusuf Abdulmalik (RTD), during the first Management Meeting with newly posted staff of the Agency, held in his office.
The Commander General emphasized that the statutory mandate of the Agency remains a top priority and will be diligently upheld to achieve its desired objectives.
He stressed that effective security delivery requires synergy, noting that the Agency will continue to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, including conventional security agencies, community leaders, and other partners to enhance security operations in Kano State.
Lt. Col. Aminu Yusuf Abdulmalik (RTD) further called on the good people of Kano State to extend maximum support and cooperation to the Neighborhood Watch Security Agency, underscoring that security is a collective responsibility that demands active participation from all citizens.
The Commander General also assured the management and staff of his maximum support, pledging to provide the necessary leadership and guidance needed to strengthen the Agency’s operations and institutional capacity.
In his remarks, the Director Administration and General Services, Sulaiman Baba Umar, expressed appreciation to the Commander General for his leadership and reassurance.
He affirmed the commitment and cooperation of the entire staff to work diligently towards achieving the Agency’s set goals and primary objectives in line with the vision of the Kano State Government.
The Kano State Government remains resolute in its efforts to promote a safe, peaceful, and secure environment for socio-economic development and the well-being of its citizens.
