Kano NUJ Congratulates Gov. Yusuf Over Supreme Court Victory

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, has congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on his victory at the Supreme Court.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Union’s Chairman, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, and its Secretary, Comrade Abba Murtala, and issued to newsmen on Saturday.

According to the statement, “the Supreme Court verdict is the testimony that Allah has answered the prayers of the overwhelming majority of the people of the state who massively voted for you on 18th March 2023.”

“The Court’s final and total verdict also serves as a Go-ahead flag for you to continue with your laudable and selfless leadership which you have rendered to the people of the state in the last seven months.

“As the Umbrella Union of Journalists in the state, we pledge our continued cooperation and support and look forward to working with your Administration towards the development of Kano State and the Journalism profession,” the statement added.
