Kano Philanthropist Serves Free Ramadan Meals, Praises Allah For Opportunity

A Kano-based philanthropist(name withheld) on Sunday commenced serving of free Ramadan breakfast to vulnerables in ten centres in parts of the state.
The beneficiaries are being served cooked rice,Kunun Tsamiya(Tamarind Gruel) and noodles,among other meals at designated centres in the state.
The philanthropic gesture was launched at one of the designated feeding centers- Rimin-Gado town on Sunday through Barrister Muhuyi Magaji.
The beneficiaries whom were drawn from various parts of the state would be served the breakfast every evening throughout the Ramadan period.
“I am serving this breakfast to the needy for the sake of Allah Who enjoined us to feed the less privileged during this Holy month,as such,I don’t need my name to be mentioned for the gesture,” he said.
Additionally, the philanthropist has distributed foodstuff including rice and noodles, and cash to over 2000 vulnerables and 150 orphans to boost their feeding during the Holy month.
“I feel very happy giving this assistance to the needy during this Holy month.I pray Allah to continue to give the financial strength to enable me to sustain this gesture,”the philanthropist added.
Some of the beneficiaries including Talatu Iro and Safiya Yusuf who spoke to our Correspondent, thanked the philanthropist for the gesture which according to them, would immensely enhance their feeding during the Ramadan period.
“This gesture came at the right time when we need it most, that’s the Holy month of Ramadan.May Allah reward the person who provided it abundantly,” they said.
