Kano Polls: NNPP’s Ismail Yusuf Outlines Vision for Rano’s Future

Alhaji Ismail Yusuf, an aspiring candidate for Chairman of Rano Local Government under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has presented a comprehensive development plan designed to transform the region and enhance the quality of life for its residents.

In a statement issued today, Yusuf detailed his plan focusing on education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, and infrastructure.

He addressed the challenges faced by the community and outlined measures for growth.

“Education is a central part of our plan,” Yusuf said. “We will renovate and construct classrooms, provide learning materials, and introduce scholarship programs for students from underprivileged backgrounds to ensure access to quality education.”

Yusuf also discussed plans to enhance healthcare services in Rano. “We will renovate existing healthcare centers, build new facilities in underserved areas, and supply necessary medical equipment and drugs. Special attention will be given to maternal and child health.”

Empowering women and youth is another focus of Yusuf’s plan. “We will establish vocational training centers to provide entrepreneurial skills and introduce microfinance programs to support small businesses and foster economic independence.”

Infrastructure development includes plans for road construction and rehabilitation to boost local commerce and improve access to services. “Improving infrastructure will facilitate the movement of goods and people, creating a more connected community,” he said.

To address water scarcity, Yusuf pledged to construct new boreholes and maintain existing water supply systems to provide clean water. “This will improve public health and support agricultural activities.”

In closing, Yusuf expressed his vision for Rano Local Government: “The goal is to lead Rano into a new era of growth through a focus on education, healthcare, empowerment, and infrastructure to ensure every resident has the opportunity to thrive.”
