Kano SWAN lauds Yusuf’s appointment as Falconets Media Officer

The Kano Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has lauded the appointment of its member, Salma Yusuf, as Media Officer to the U-20 women’s national team (Falconets).

The appointment was made by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Chairman of the chapter, Zahradeen Saleh, said in a statement in Kano that the appointment was a collective victory for Kano SWAN.

“We know her qualities as a journalist, and we are sure she will bring to bear her expertise and make the Falconets greater.

“Yusuf’s appointment as the Media Officer to the Falconets, the U-20 Nigeria women’s national team, serves as an inspiration to sports journalists, especially females, who aim to make their marks in the industry.

“We will provide all the necessary support for her to succeed,” Saleh said.

He lauded NFF for the appointment.

He also thanked SWAN executives at the national, zonal and state levels for positive impacts.

“We want to commend you for your unwavering support because it has been instrumental in ensuring the growth and recognition of talents such as Salma Yusuf,” he added. (NAN)
