Kano SWAN Set Up LOC For Forthcoming National Full Council

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kano State Chapter, under the able leadership of Comrade Zaharaddeen Sale, is pleased to announce the formation of a dedicated Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the upcoming SWAN National Full Council this April.

This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Muzammil Dalha Yola, Assistant Secretary, SWAN Kano State Chapter on Friday.

The SWAN National Full Council is a highly anticipated annual event that brings together sports journalists, stakeholders, and enthusiasts from across the country.

This year, Kano State has been chosen as the host for this prestigious gathering, and SWAN Kano State Chapter is leaving no stone unturned in its preparations.

Comrade Zaharaddeen Sale, the Chairman of SWAN Kano State Chapter, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to showcase the rich sporting culture and hospitality of Kano State.

He stated, “We are honoured and privileged to host this year’s SWAN National Full Council. Kano State’s passion for sports and our commitment to promoting excellence in sports journalism make us the perfect host for this event.”

The newly constituted Local Organizing Committee (LOC) comprises a team of experienced and dedicated individuals who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of the SWAN National Full Council.

Their mandate includes venue selection, logistics management, accommodation arrangements, program development, and ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.

Comrade Zaharaddeen Sale emphasized the significance of collaboration and synergy among the LOC members. “As a united team, we are fully committed to delivering a seamless and successful event. We are confident that through our collective efforts, the SWAN National Full Council in Kano State will be a resounding success, fostering networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, and the advancement of sports journalism in Nigeria.”

The SWAN National Full Council promises to be a remarkable gathering, featuring engaging sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and social activities that will further strengthen the bond among sports journalists and stakeholders.

It will also provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovations in sports journalism.

SWAN Kano State Chapter is grateful for the support and cooperation received from various partners, sponsors, and the Kano State Government, whose commitment has been instrumental in making this event possible.

Members of the LOC are Rilwanu Idris Malikawa is to serve as the Chairman of the Committee as Abdulgafar Oladimeji to serve Secretary.

Other members of the LOC are Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Muhammad A. Sulaiman, Salisu Musa Jegus, Rabi’at A. Hassan, Juwairiya Abdullahi Sarki and Abubakar Muhd Jibril.

Others are Muhd Nur Tijjani, Muzammil Dalha Yola, Yusuf A. Yusuf, Auwal Salisu Lautai And Musbahu Shehu Bala.
