KAPECOM Condoles with Families of Military Bomb Attack, Calls for Calm

The Kaduna State Peace Commission (KAPECOM) has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of victims of the recent military airstrike on Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area.

In a press conference held in Kaduna, KAPECOM’s Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. Sale B. Momale, stated that the commission extends its heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the tragic incident.

Dr. Momale urged the community to remain calm during this difficult time and appealed to all citizens to provide necessary support and assistance to those affected. He encouraged individuals and organizations to assist those in need at hospitals and pray for the souls of the departed.

He also emphasized the importance of community and religious leaders, civil society organizations, and the media working together with the government to maintain peace, law, and order.

Dr. Momale assured the public that the government is taking all necessary steps to support the affected communities. He highlighted efforts to provide the best medical care to the injured and ongoing engagement with the Nigerian Armed Forces to review the circumstances that led to the incident and prevent similar tragedies in the future.

He further explained that the government will provide counseling, relief, and other forms of assistance to help alleviate the pain and suffering of those affected. They will also engage with the leadership of the affected communities and families to discuss further measures of support.

Dr. Momale reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to taking all necessary actions to support the communities and maintain peace and security in the state.
