Katsina: Gov Radda Donates 41-seater Coaster Bus to Federal University Daura

The Katsina State Government under the leadership of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has donated a 41-seater Coaster Bus to the Federal University of Transportation, Daura.
Contained in a statement by the University Chief Information and Communication Officer, Malam Umar Usman and made available to newsmen in Gusau Zamfara State capital.
According to it, the Coaster Bus was delivered to the University today (Friday) by the Katsina State Government through the Chief Store Officer Government House.
Speaking on behalf of Katsina State Government, the Chief Store Officer, Malam Bishir Ibrahim informed the Vice-Chancellor and members of Management that he was at the University to formally hand over the Coaster Bus donated by the State Governor.
He said that the donation followed a request for Ambulance Vehicle and Students’ Bus by the University to ease transportation for the management of the University.
He informed that the Executive Governor would continue to support the University and education in the state.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Umar Adam Katsayal, thanked Governor Dikko Radda for his gesture to the University.
“I would like to inform the general public, staff and students that His Excellency, Mal. Dikko Umaru Radda, has graciously responded to our request and approved a donation of a 41-Seater Coaster Bus to the University.“
“The University had previously sent a request to the State Governor and today, God Almighty has made it possible for us to receive a donation of a Toyota Coaster.“
“I want to use this opportunity to sincerely appreciate the Executive Governor as well as request you to inform him that the University still expects an Ambulance as it will help us a lot in providing health services for staff and students”, the VC said.
