Katsina State Government initiates manpower audit/verification exercise for MDAs

The Katsina State Government has set up a committee tasked with conducting a comprehensive manpower audit and verification exercise across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) within the state.

The exercise is scheduled to take place today, Thursday, the 13th of July, 2023.

According to a statement released by the committee’s spokesperson, Hassan Muhammad Tukur, several MDAs have been lined up for screening during the exercise.

The MDAs listed for scrutiny include the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), Katsina State Radio Service, Farmers Supply Company (FASKOT), Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, as well as the Deputy Governor’s office (DGO).

Additionally, the Shari’a Commission, Local Government Audit, Surveyor General’s office, Department of Higher Education (DHE), Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Department of Rural and Semi Urban Water Supply (DRSUWS), Ministry of Resource Development (MRD), Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Shari’a Court of Appeal, Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Rural Electricity Board (REB), and Drugs and Medical Supply Agency (DMA) will also undergo the screening process.

The verification exercise is scheduled to begin at ten o’clock in the morning and continue until five o’clock in the evening.

The statement highlights the importance of the Directors of Administration and Supplies adhering to the committee’s terms of reference for the smooth and successful execution of the exercise.
