KCCI Committee Meets with Kano State Task Force Chairman on Illicit Drugs, Phone Snatching

The KCCI committee on Illicit Drugs, led by Ambassador Ahmad Umar, Dan Malikin Kano, paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Chairman of the Kano State Task Force Committee on Illicit Drugs and Phone Snatching, Gen. Maiadua, on January 22, 2024.
During the round table discussions, Dan Malikin Kano commended the Kano State Government for establishing the committee at a crucial time.
He expressed gratitude for the proactive step and assured the new committee of full cooperation and support from the KCCI committee.
Dan Malikin Kano pledged to extend any necessary assistance to facilitate the smooth discharge of the committee’s responsibilities.
In response, Gen. Maiadua, accompanied by his officials, expressed high appreciation for the visit from the KCCI committee. He acknowledged the importance of collaborative efforts in combating crimes and criminals, particularly addressing the rising concerns of illicit drugs and phone snatching in the State.
Gen. Maiadua affirmed his commitment to working closely with the KCCI committee, emphasizing the significance of such partnerships in maintaining peace and tranquility in Kano State.
