KEDCO Boss Bags Int’l Leadership Excellence Award

The Managing Director/CEO of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Dr. Abubakar Shuaibu Jimeta, has been conferred the Award of Leadership Excellence by Masterminds Business School (London, UK), at the prestigious Qatar Leadership Summit 2025, in Doha, Qatar.

This was contained in a state signed and issued to newsmen on Friday by Sani Bala Sani, the Head, Corporate Communications at KEDCO.

According to Sani, the global leadership summit, which convened top executives and professionals from over 25 countries under the theme: ‘Global Leadership Masterclass for Top Executives’, recognised Dr. Jimeta’s outstanding leadership, vision, and commitment to driving transformation and ethical practices in KEDCO and the electricity distribution sector in Nigeria.

He explained that, rhis milestone reflects the strategic efforts of the entire KEDCO team in improving service delivery, operational excellence, and our customer-first approach.

While at the summit, Dr. Jimeta also completed a certified Executive MBA in Leadership & Management and was inducted into the Masterminds Fellows Forum, a global network of impact-driven leaders.
