Keyamo inaugurates Ganduje-led FAAN board
Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, has inaugurated the new governing board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
According to a post on X on Wednesday, Gbenga Saka, the special adviser on digital media to the minister, said Abdullahi Ganduje, former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will serve as chair of the board.
This comes a few days after Ganduje’s resignation as the ruling party’s chairman.
On January 24, President Bola Tinubu appointed board chairpersons for 42 federal organisations and a secretary to the board of the civil defence, immigration, and prisons services.
Tinubu appointed Kayode Opeifa as managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) and Raji Kolawole as director-general for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).
Ganduje was also appointed as the board chair of FAAN; while Felix Morka, APC spokesperson, would chair the board of the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa.
