KNSG begins reconstruction of collapsed 3-Cell Box culvert at Gwarzo

The Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has begun reconstruction of the Danya, Kwakwaci Box culvert in Gwarzo Local Government Area (LGA), which collapsed due to heavy flood during last rainy season.

The failed Box culvert, with a legacy spanning over seven decades, is going to be reconstructed by the Kano State Roads Maintenance Agency (KARMA) the Agency responsible for such kind of project through direct labour.

In September, His Excellency the Executive Governor, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed KARMA for the reconstruction of the collapsed Box culvert at Gwarzo.

He further instructs the Agency to utilize top-quality materials, ensuring the Box culvert’s longevity and dependability against any future challenges.

Meanwhile, KARMA, the Executing Agency of the reconstruction process, has vowed to strictly adhere to high-quality construction standards, according to its Managing Director, Alh. Hassan Danbappa.
