KNSG offers employment to outstanding Nursing School graduates

Kano State Governor, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has declared an ‘automatic’ employment opportunity for the top-performing graduates from Nafisatu College of Nursing Sciences.

The college, situated in Madobi Local Government Area, was established by former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The significant decision was made during the graduation event where the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria presented practicing licenses to 35 graduates.

The governor, represented by his Deputy, Comr. Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, expressed his joy at the college’s accomplishments as the first private Nursing College in Northern Nigeria.

He stated, “Those with the best results will have automatic employment in our health facilities.”

Governor Yusuf also extended his appreciation to Kwankwaso for his substantial investments in education and by extension praising Kwankwaso’s dedication to the cause, which earned him the title ‘Mr. Education’.

Kwankwaso, also the National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party, commended the college’s success and the exceptional performances of the students.

The college, founded in 2019, has been instrumental in shaping the nursing profession.

During the ceremony, Kwankwaso emphasized his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the historic event. He lauded the institution’s management for maintaining high standards and congratulated the students on receiving their practicing licenses.

The Provost of the college, Halima Muhammad Yunusa, extended a vote of thanks and urged the state government, individuals, and corporate organizations to offer scholarships to financially constrained yet brilliant students who aspire to enroll in the college.
