Former Kano State Governor Sen.Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has expressed his admiration for the Dangote Refinery, emphasizing its critical importance to Nigeria’s energy needs and economic stability.
In a post on his verified X account, the former Presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party revealed that during a recent visit to the 650,000 barrels per day (bpd) facility, he lauded the dedication that went into establishing the refinery.
Kwankwaso described the refinery as “magnificent” and highlighted the necessity of protecting it from any threats. “The creation of unnecessary fuss around its integrity by some vested interests is very unfortunate,” he stated. “It stands to undo all the years of hard work to maintain the fragile investor confidence in our economy.”
He called on Nigerians to rally around the refinery, stressing that it is a national asset that must not fail.
Kwankwaso urged the Nigerian government to demonstrate fairness and confidence in both domestic and foreign investments to ensure the success of the project.
“The Nigerian government must understand this by demonstrating fairness and confidence in both domestic and foreign critical investments,” he concluded.
