Lawmaker donates two operational vans to NSCDC in Kano
A member representing Minjibir/Ungoggo at the House of Representatives, Honorable Sani Adamu Wakili has donated 2 operational vans to the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps.
According to the statement by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command of Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps
, Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala, fcna, state Commandant, NSCDC Kano command has appreciated the rare kindness, generosity and gesture of the member representing Minjibir/Ungoggo at the House of Representatives, Honorable Sani Adamu Wakili for donating two (2) operational vans, brand new Nissan Frontier (aka Hilux) to the two divisional offices of NSCDC ( Minjibir and Ungoggo).
Commandant Mohammed Falala pointed out that such gesture deserves special commendation. According to him, it’s a morale booster and will go along way in improving the operational efficiency and capacity of the Corps towards better service delivery.
” I genuinely commend the effort of Honorable Sani Adamu Wakili for this gesture and I’m assuring him that the 2 operational vehicles donated to these divisional offices will be judiciously utilized and properly maintained to better serve the good people of Minjibir and Ungoggo constituencies and by extension the indigenes of Kano”, Comdt Falala said.
The state Commandant further appealed to all elected representatives of people in Kano to emulate the virtues of honorable Sani Wakili in providing logistical supports to the NSCDC especially mobility which civil defence is seriously in need of.
