MAAUN Group Hails Nafisa Abdullahi on her Success at Global English Championship
MAAUN Group of Universities has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Nafisa Abdullahi, the 17-year-old student from Yobe State who clinched the world’s best position in English language skills at the just concluded 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement personally signed by the Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and released to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday.
According to Prof. Gwarzo, the outstanding performance by Nafisa at the global competition was a testament to the quality of education she received in Nigeria.
He also congratulated her parents, Nigerian Tulip International College, and Yobe State government for producing the young girl that excelled at the global stage.
The young girl represented Nigeria from Yobe State, defeating over 20,000 students from 69 countries, including many from native English-speaking.
According to him, this is a great milestone considering the number of students that participated in the global competition.
“On behalf of MAAUN Group of Universities, I join other individuals and organizations in felicitating with Nafisa Abdullahi on achieving the milestone,” Prof. Gwarzo said.
He said the outstanding achievement and global success should be celebrated, noting that the feat has earned Yobe State and Nigeria an international honor and recognition.
Prof. Gwarzo therefore, stressed the need for secondary schools to uphold and maintain high academic standards with a view to producing the best students that could pursue their higher education in universities.
