Magashi accepts Kano Gov’t appointment as co-ordinator of Cancer Center

Former Chairman 2023 Gubernatorial Transition Health Committee Dr Aminu Magashi Garba, has accepted the appointment as co-ordinator of the Kano State Cancer Center.

Magashi  Disclosed via an acceptance letter submitted to the Secretary to the government indicating that “I have also humbly declared in my letter to serve free of charge in a voluntary capacity without salary as a way of giving back to my society “Kano State”, which is consistent with all the previous support I rendered to pass Administrations.

However, I will strive to deliver this work by building a multi-disciplinary, multi-sectoral, and multi-stakeholder partnership and coordination for cancer care in line with the existing laws and the new bill/law,  we hope to develop in due course. This has worked to develop his blueprint that encapsulated his vision and direction toward health in the state, he emphasized.

Dr Magashi added that, His gratitude goes to Kano state Governor Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf for allowing him to serve the technical committee team before the March 2023 election.
