Ministerial appointment: I’ll prove my nomination by Tinubu right
From Ibrahim Kaulahi, Gusau
A just screened ministerial nominee, former Governor Zamfara State, Bello Mattawale said he will serve to best of his ability to prove that his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a rightful choice to any ministry he may be assigned to.
Bello Mattawale expressed his readiness for the task today (Sunday) while speaking with newsmen at his residence, appreciating that he was nominated to serve as a member of the Federal Executive Council based on the hard earned experience.
“My nomination was divinely destined by God, I was a Governor of Zamfara State but unexpectedly lost election to an opposition, Allah in his wisdom offered me a new task and I am assuring Mr. President Bola Tinubu, that I will do my best to pay my quarter in taking Nigeria to the greater height” Matawalle has assured.
Matawalle further recalled that, during my administration, the insurgency had reduced to the barest minimum, during all these killings, banditry, and cattle rustling were about to shrink, but to my surprise, now the menace has resurfaced due to the insensitivity of the present administration in the state.
He called on the present Governor of the state, Dauda Lawal to instead of paying more attention on unnecessary and politically irrelevant issues, but focus more on security challenges that resurface in full force with a view to cushion the fears of the good people of the state.
