MWFAAN Engages Presidential Aide Over Legacy Conference

In effort to galvanize stakeholders for her forthcoming Legacy Conference, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria (MWFAAN) paid a courtesy visit to Rinsola Abiola, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Citizenship and Leadership.

The association’s legacy conference team which was led by its President, Farida Yahya, on Friday in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja also extended a formal invitation to the presidential aide.

According to her, “The visit was in line with the conference’s aim of gathering youths and decision makers for a meaningful dialogue that will enhance Nigeria and Africa’s economy and increase participation on the global arena.”

Ms. Rinsola while accepting the invitation appreciate the Fellows for their contribution national development while pledging her support and presence during the event.

Earlier, the MWFAAN announced that it’s 10 Year Anniversary Legacy Conference is scheduled to hold on the 21st of November 2024 at the State House.

The event promise’s to focus on two critical initiatives with immense potential for Africa’s development: The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), aiming to create a single market for goods and services across Africa, and The African Union’s Agenda 2063, a vision which outlines Africa’s development goals for the coming decades.
