NA introduces toll-free emergency line to battle-out banditry in Zamfara/Kebbi

In it’s efforts to enhance security and ensure the safety of citizens, the Nigerian Army through Northwest Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHDarmy) has introduced a toll-free emergency line for the public.

The Toll-free line released as according to the Acting Director Army Public Relations (APR), Lieutenant Suleiman Omale, is part of Operation Hadarin Daji’s comprehensive strategy to combat banditry within its area of responsibility and beyond.

The newly launched toll-free line, 08000020202, is now available for emergency, complaint, and distress calls.

The statement by the APR Lieutenant Omale further informed that, the OPHD urges members of the public to make responsible use of this line, emphasizing that timely and accurate reporting can play a critical role in the fight against banditry.

“The OPHD’s commitmented to leveraging on innovative strategies to restore peace and security across the region. The public’s collaboration is crucial to the success of this mission, and OPHD remains steadfast in its dedication to protecting lives and property.

“Security of lives and property of the citizenry is everybody’s business, therefore, the general society is expected to play it’s role as the Nigerian Army would continue to match-scratch the ground to ensure no stone is left unturned in efforts to deny the terrorists any space to breath”, the statement has urged.
