NANS Honors Mr. Adnan Adeosun with “Archiver Par Excellence Award” for Exemplary Leadership in Environmental Innovation

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the apex representative body of over 40 million Nigerian students across the globe, has presented the prestigious “Archiver Par Excellence Award” to Mr. Adnan Adeosun, Chief Executive Officer of Sarius Palmetum Management Company, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and eco-tourism development in Nigeria.

The award was presented during a high-level courtesy visit by the NANS National Executive Council to the Sarius Palmetum Botanical Garden in Abuja, where Mr. Adeosun was hailed as a national symbol of visionary leadership and environmental advocacy.

Speaking at the event, Comr. Sadiq SK Zango CNS, National Director of Research and Innovation for NANS, praised Mr. Adeosun’s dedication to preserving nature through innovation and sustainable development. “In a time when Nigeria is in dire need of responsible, forward-thinking leadership, Mr. Adeosun has emerged as a trailblazer in environmental innovation and legacy-building. His work has redefined the possibilities of eco-tourism and conservation in Nigeria,” he stated.

The Sarius Palmetum Botanical Garden, managed by Mr. Adeosun, has grown to become one of Africa’s most unique natural sanctuaries — serving as a critical hub for research, education, tourism, and ecological preservation.

The award is part of NANS’ ongoing commitment to celebrating excellence, inspiring national development, and fostering strategic partnerships with industry leaders whose work positively impacts youth and the larger Nigerian society.

In his remarks, Mr. Adeosun expressed appreciation for the recognition and reiterated his commitment to supporting youth-focused initiatives and sustainability education across the country.
