The workshop, organised to mark the 38th birthday of Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, was themed “The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Content Creation: Impact in the Year 2026.” It took place at the Murtala Muhammad Library and was facilitated by Musa Abdullahi Sufi.
The event attracted journalists, media professionals and content creators from both associations, who participated in interactive sessions focused on the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence in journalism, digital storytelling and content dissemination.

They said the workshop equipped participants with practical skills and knowledge needed to remain relevant, ethical and innovative in the fast-changing media landscape.
The leaders urged participants to apply the knowledge gained to improve professionalism, creativity and responsible content creation, particularly as the media industry prepares for emerging trends in 2026 and beyond.
