NGX Group Chairman, Umaru Kwairanga, Attends Oluropo Dada’s Investiture, Commits To Sustain Support For CIS

On Friday 29th June, 2024, while attending the investiture ceremony for the 13th President and Chairman of the Governing Council Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Mr. Oluropo Samuel Dada, the Group Cgairman of Nigeria Exchange Group, Dr. Umaru Kwairanga, emphasized his commitment to the Institute’s growth and success.

Delivering his congratulatory address at the National Secretariat of the Institute, Dr. Kwairanga lauded the recent milestones recorded by the previous government, expressing optimism that President Dada’s administration will surpass in bringing positive changes to the market.

He also acknowledged the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers as the ‘Mother of the Nigerian Capital market’ in Nigeria, urging the Institute to continue caring for its community.

Expressing confidence in Mr. Dada’s competence, Dr. Kwairanga expressed optimism that during their tenure, the CIS bill would be signed into law, a milestone he attributed to a passionate and visionary colleague.

Acknowledging the contributions of past CIS presidents, Kwairanga specifically thanked Mr. Olowale for his efforts in infrastructure development, which have significantly improved the organization’s reputation, according to him.

He reiterated the critical role of CIS in the development and sustainability of the stock products sector, highlighting the education and experience it provides to dealers.

He concluded by pledging unwavering support for Oluropo, aligning with the Governor’s commitment to fully back the organization’s endeavors.
