Nigeria @63: APC has foisted artificial hunger, poverty on Nigerians – Hon Amshi

From Sani Gazas Chinade

Yobe State Coordinator of the Great United Voice of Nigeria, Aliyu Buba Amshi, has blamed the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the high rates of insecurity, unemployment, and hunger in the country.

He said that these problems are a confirmation of the failure of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration since he assumed office in 2023.

Speaking to newsmen in Damaturu, Amshi said that the number of people killed since the APC came to power is so high that it is “impossible to keep track of.” He added that “people are suffering day and night.”

Amshi also said that the country is experiencing unprecedented levels of hunger and killings. “Every day you wake up to hear about the killings of innocent people in Katsina, Maiduguri, Yobe, Zamfara, Taraba, Kaduna, Niger, and across the nation. There is no state in Nigeria where they have not been killings” he said.

Amshi accused the APC and Tinubu of making fake campaign promises to Nigerians. He said that the APC has only destroyed the Nigerian economy since it came to power, especially after removing fuel subsidies.

Amshi also blamed the ruling party for creating artificial poverty among the people, which has led to insecurity, hunger, mass killings, farmers’ clashes, and armed banditry across the 36 states of the federation.

He said that Nigerians have become objects of ridicule and disgrace outside the country as a result of the “bad governance” of the APC-led federal government.
