NNPP Elects New 30-Man State Executive in Adamawa for Four-Year Tenure

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Adamawa State chapter, has successfully elected a new 30-man state executive committee to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The election took place during the party’s state congress held in Yola on Thursday.
The electoral committee, chaired by Mr. Zakka R. Christopher and Mr. Sadiq A. Usman as secretary, conducted the process peacefully and transparently, earning commendation from attendees.
Announcing the results, Mr. Christopher disclosed the names and positions of the newly elected executive members, who were unanimously chosen by screened delegates through a voice vote. Most positions were filled unopposed through consensus.
Key officials include: State Chairman: Mr. Bundi Ahmadu Pious, Deputy State Chairman: Alhaji Umaru Jambuba and State Secretary: Mr. Pwaveino T. Calvin
Other elected officials are Aminu Bala Tafida as Deputy State Secretary, Zainab Musa Garba as Woman Leader, Innocent Dauda as State Organizing Secretary, Nasiru Zubairu as State Treasurer, Barrister Murtala Gambo as Legal Adviser, and John Matekai (J-Real) as Publicity Secretary.
Barrister Sani I. Bello administered the oaths of office and allegiance to the new officials in the presence of delegates and party members from all 21 local government areas of the state.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Mr. Bundi Ahmadu Pious, expressed gratitude to the delegates for entrusting him and his team with the responsibility of leading the party.
He commended party members for their sacrifices and pledged inclusive leadership.
Pious urged members and stakeholders to support the new leadership in devising strategies to strengthen the party’s presence in the state.
He emphasized that the NNPP has fulfilled all constitutional requirements by establishing structures at the ward, local government, and state levels, adding that the party is set to launch its political activities.
He also charged party members to work diligently to ensure the NNPP’s success in future state and national elections.
