North-Central APC Group Suspends Agitation for Ganduje’s Removal as National Chairman
A coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) groups in the North-Central region has announced the suspension of its agitation for the removal of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the party’s National Chairman.
The coalition’s chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sale Zazzaga, made the announcement during an interview with DCL Hausa on Wednesday.
He explained that leaders in the region advised them to pause their agitation, particularly with the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting approaching.
Zazzaga emphasized that the group’s agitation was driven by the political and economic interests of the North-Central region.
“We have made our stance known, and our voices have been heard loud and clear. This is not the end of our agitation; it is for the benefit of our people,” he said.
He continued, “We decided to suspend the agitation after discussions with our leaders. They pointed to the upcoming NEC meeting and asked us to allow the committee to address the issue”
“We will wait to see what the NEC decides. Everyone knows our agitation is for the good of our people and the region, but for now, we will respect our leaders’ advice” he said.
