Northern Christian Clerics Offer Condolences, Prayers for Kaduna Blast Victims

Several prominent Northern Christian clerics have expressed their condolences to the Kaduna State government, families of victims, and the Muslim community following the tragic bomb blast in Tudun-Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area.
Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, General Overseer of the Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, Reverend Zigo Aziz, Pastor George, and Pastor Joshua Ahmed conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the incident, particularly the Muslim community celebrating Maulud.
In their statements, they prayed for the repose of the victims’ souls and wished a quick recovery to the injured hospitalized at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.
They also pledged to visit the patients and offer their prayers for healing.
Pastor Buru affirmed that they have already sent messages of condolence and solidarity to prominent Muslim leaders, including the Sultan of Sokoto, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, and Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikum.
The clerics further expressed their commitment to praying for peace and unity in Nigeria, urging an end to the insecurity plaguing the country.
In their words, “May the gentle souls of the departed rest in peace. We will continue to pray for peace and unity in Nigeria.”
The Kaduna State government has confirmed that the Nigerian Army has claimed responsibility for the incident, which resulted in the unfortunate loss of approximately 30 lives.
