Northern Group Condemn Attack on Plateau Communities

Northern Consensus Movement An Amalgamation of 594 Registered Community Base, Socio-cultural and Economic inclined Northern Associations from the 19 Northern States and Associations of Northerners Resident in the 17 Southern States.
The group in a press Statement signed by Dr Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu Condole the government and people of Plateau State over the brutal massacre in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi L.G.A of Plateau State on Christmas Eve 2023, which resulted in the tragic loss of many lives.
The Leadership of NCM strongly condemn this brutal massacre and assures the people of Plateau state that these envoys of death, sorrow and pains shall not go free and that justice must be called for immediately.
“We shall legally make follow-up and ensure that the right move is made as Mr President(Bola Ahmad Tinubu) has directed security agencies to immediately move in, scour every stretch of the zone and apprehend the culprits.
while urging all Nigeria’s to be law abiding citizens we should also be security conscious and report any suspicious action/movements to security Agencies around us.
Furthermore we are requesting for a forensic analysis of the present incident and all the previous once for a comprehensive report and recommendations towards finding a lasting solutions to the problems as well as payment of Compensation to all.
We believe taking such action will greatly assist in changing the narrative.Nigeria is the only home we know, as Nigeria’s we must tolerate each other and be our brothers keeper’s.He concluded.
