NSCDC Apprehends Five Suspected Vandals, Motorcycle Thieves in Kano

The Anti-Vandalism Unit of the NSCDC, Kano command, has arrested two suspected vandals, Adnan Umar (26) and Musa Shuayb (24), during midnight patrols along IBB Way in Kano. The duo is suspected of vandalizing streetlight armored cable near Fagge/Kofar Wambai new market and attempting to steal three rolls of copper wire.

This information was released in a statement by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO of the Kano command, on behalf of the State Commandant.

According to him in a separate operation, three suspected motorcycle thieves, including a receiver, were also arrested. “The suspects, Saminu Magaji (a.k.a Pina, 19), Haruna Idris (22), and Ahmed Abubakar (receiver, 38), specialize in breaking into homes and stealing motorcycles and personal belongings. The NSCDC is actively pursuing two other suspects who remain at large”.

All five suspects are under thorough investigation and will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
