NSCDC Arrests 2 Alleged Car Thieves In Kano
The operatives of the NSCDC, Nassarawa division has arrested two suspected car thieves in Badawa Layout, Nassarawa local government area of Kano State.
This is contained in a statement signed by DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, spokesperson of NSCDC, Kano command on Friday.
According to him, the suspects, Adam Muhammad (25) and Khalifa Yahaya (18), allegedly used a sharp knife to stab the victim, after he gave them a lift.
DSC Abdullahi said Bashir escaped with a cut on his finger, but the assailants were able to snatch his car and drive it away.
He added that the theives hid the car in a location far away from where it was stolen.
The NSCDC Kano command is also on the trail of one lady called Baby who is allegedly the suspects’ accomplice.
“The Command’s Intelligence and investigation department has since launched a discreet investigation into the matter with a view to make further arrests. As soon as investigation is concluded the suspects will be charged to court,” said DSC Abdullahi.
