NSCDC Decorates 385 Newly Promoted Officers in Kano as Falala Commends Gov Abba Kabir’s Support

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Kano Command, held a ceremony on Tuesday to decorate 385 newly promoted officers at its headquarters in Kano.

The event, attended by representatives from sister agencies, saw Mohammed Lawal Falala, the Kano state NSCDC commandant, urging the newly promoted officers to uphold the core values of the corps.

“To the officers recognized today, congratulations on your well-deserved promotion. Your exceptional performance is a testament to your dedication,” stated Falala.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining NSCDC’s principles of Courage, Diligence, and Professionalism, attributing their promotion to hard work, selflessness, and loyalty to the command.

Falala also lauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unwavering support, crucial in bolstering the agency’s efforts to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.

In attendance, representing Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, AVM Ibrahim Umar Ayagi (rtd), Director General Special, congratulated the newly promoted officers, urging the Command to persist in upholding security in Kano.

The early representative of Kano Emir, Bello Idi Kaigama, extended congratulations to the officers and emphasized the importance of professionalism in their duties.

Among the promoted officers decorated was SC Ibrahim Idris, the Command’s spokesperson.

The event was attended by local government chairmen from Kumbotso and Tarauni, former accountant general Ahmad Idris, and family members of the officers.
