NSCDC Deploys Over 3,000 Personnel for Eid-el-Kabir in Kano

In preparation for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has announced the deployment of 3,168 personnel across the state.

This decision follows a management meeting involving Area Commanders and divisional officers to strategize for the sallah operations.

According to a statement by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano Command on Friday said, State Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala emphasized the importance of protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, in line with the Corps’ mandate.

He state that tbe deployed officers will collaborate with the Nigerian Police, Department of State Services (DSS), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) to ensure law and order and facilitate smooth traffic flow before, during, and after the festive period.

The NSCDC urges the residents of Kano to cooperate with security agents and adhere to laws and regulations to ensure a peaceful celebration.
