This assurance was given by the State Commandant, Jibrin Idris, when he received courtesy visits from the leadership of Jama’atu Hadaratul Islamiya (Islamic Teachers Association) and Yelmee Humanitarian and Development Initiatives (YHADI), a non-governmental organization engaged in humanitarian and development support.
A statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Sa’ad, said the Chairman of Jama’atu Hadaratul Islamiya, Alhaji Muhammed Nuhu, commended the Commandant for his leadership in maintaining peace and security in the state.
He urged the Corps to sustain its efforts, noting that residents hold strong confidence in its operations.
In his remarks, Commandant Idris emphasized the critical role of teachers in shaping education and moral values, describing them as vital to raising disciplined and responsible citizens.
Also speaking during the YHADI visit, the Executive Director of the organization, Mr. Emmanuel Ezekiel Shekari, highlighted the group’s humanitarian activities and expressed readiness to work closely with the Corps.
Commandant Idris assured YHADI of NSCDC’s continued support for humanitarian interventions, while reiterating the Corps’ statutory role in disaster management and the protection of critical infrastructure.
