NSUBEB Chairman Meet To Proffers Solutions To Skirmishes In Nasarawa

Heads of agencies and parastatals in Nasarawa State including the Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, (NSUBEB), Dr Kassim Muhammad Kassim converged at the Ministry for Local Government ,Community Development and chieftaincy affairs, Lafia.
The stakeholders assembled to discuss conflict sensitivity issues with the sole motive to promote peaceful governance.
The heads of agencies at the 2 day training programme had intensive executive engagement to have a deep understanding of the dynamics of security threats, their socioeconomic dimensions, and near term opportunities to drive stability in Government programmes.
The workshop, themed “Conflict Sensitivity,” was organized by the Nasarawa State Government in collaboration with the Institute for Integrated Transition and Middle Belt Brain Trust, led by General Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd).
Key takeaway from the workshop are as thus: Conflict Management Strategies, Negotiation Skills, Practical Application, Analyze Conflicts, and Develop Conflict Resolution Skills.
